COMPANY HISTORY AND INFORMATION

January 1, 2017

Precision Concrete Construction, Inc. (Precision) started operations in 1980 and was incorporated in 1984. Established with the “hands on” approach instilled by its founder, Dennis Ihle, the company performed work on custom homes, flatwork and small commercial projects. Earning C-8 (Concrete), B (General Building) and A (General Engineering) Licenses, Precision expanded into larger concrete construction projects and developed core competencies anchored in Christian values with a commitment to quality.

Between 1980 and 1986, the company grew to approximately $1,000,000 in annual gross sales and completed its first Wal-Mart in 1985. Subsequent years saw the annual gross sales reach up to $15,000,000 as the company specialized in commercial concrete, public works construction, custom residential and commercial architectural hardscape.

In 2005, Dennis Ihle and his wife Lisa became the sole owners of the company. Since then Precision has maintained annual revenues of approximately $6,000,000 and is a state certified small business. In addition, Lisa earned her K9 Concrete license for Precision to perform work in Arizona.

The CEO/CFO, Dennis Ihle, is deeply involved with the daily process of field supervision, job scheduling, labor, and material organization. Continuing this “hands on” approach remains instrumental to the company’s commitment to quality. Precision has worked to maintain long-term relationships with customers and some of the larger General Contractors in our area (see the attached listing).

Continuously thankful for God’s blessings, Precision’s ethical and quality focused business approach encourages repeat customers while also gaining new clients. Working for Westfield, Precision completed the $7.4 million Plaza Bonita Mall Expansion, the $684,000 North County Cheesecake Factory in 2013, and the $2.3 million Plaza Camino Sitework Expansion in 2015. Precision built several Kohls, Lowes and Theaters for Near-Cal, Collins, Summit, and B.C.S. Construction, as well as work for Wal-Mart and Marriott. Precision set a record pace erecting the $2.2 million tilt-up Lowe’s building in Escondido four weeks after grading was finished and installed the beautiful $3.8 million River Project for Roel Construction in Rancho Mirage. Precision constructed the $7.4 million Tennis Stadium #2 (2014) and $3.5 million Stadium 1 Renovation (2016) in Indian Wells, CA and a two story Hoehn Carlsbad parking garage and service center for Watkins Landmark Construction. Precision completed military contracts at Camp Pendleton, NWS China Lake, NAF El Centro, San Clemente Island, NB San Diego, NAS North Island, and NWS Seal Beach. Precision recently performed OSHPD/Medical work at Lake Arrowhead, Chula Vista, Coronado and in Campo. From the coast to Arizona, and from the border to Northern California, Precision prides itself on providing a quality product to each and every client.

After 30 years, Dennis and Lisa Ihle remain committed to maintaining the Christian values that have built this company. The Lord willing, Precision will continue to expand its service in the construction field.
